I Spit On Your Grave (Original from 1978) Review

Hi Guys, You all know

i'ma huge Chadling with all my Heart.
Since Chad tweeted about his Role in the Remake from "I Spit on your Grave" i watched some Trailers, read about the Original Movie and now i finally watched the Movie.
I was a bit afraid to see Chad in this Movie cause... well, from what i know, i was in big fear that he´s playing a rapist and i seriously can´t handle Movies like that. I can´t handle "my" Chad as the really, really Bad Guy!
Gimme Jason, Freddy, Jigsaw... i fucking don´t care, but seeing a Woman get raped... NO GO!

BUT i´m also naturally curious and so wanna see the Movie, (also) precisely because i saw that RODNEY EASTMAN *squeeeee* has a part in it.
(For all who don´t know Rodney, he played this cute little Joey in Nightmare 3 *another Fangirl *squeee*)
Well anyways i watched the Movie some days ago and i´m absolutely super thrilled to see Chad in the remake.

Here we go with my Review of the Original 1978 "I Spit on your Grave"

The Writer Jennifer visits a nice, quiet village to finish her newest Book. Right at the beginning she meets some guys at the Gas Station, welcoming her.
She spents some really nice days at her Vacation House, lying in the Sun, at the sea.

And one day Matthew a Man, i would call him nerdish-but in a loveable way, visits her to bring her Food from the Supermarket.

Matthew is a Virgin and totally excited and nervous meeting the young attractive Lady. When he talks about Jennifer with his so-called-friends (the guys from the gasstation) they start to make fun about him and treat him for his virginity.
A few days later the guys start to "stalk" Jennifer. Nothing really happens, but she starts to feel uncomfortable and she´s right with that feeling.
Cause on another day, when she is laying in her Boat, just relaxing in the sun, 2 of those guys, Stanley and Andy, start to frightening and "kidnapping" her. They bring her into the woods, were Johnny and Matthew are already waiting.
Matthew don´t likes the situation. Not a bit, but he´s too afraid and scared from the others, so he at least helps them to hold Jennifer while Johnny is raping her.
Jennifer runs away, just right back into her rapers arms and they torture her again... in really brutal and hard ways.
When she´s finally at home, also here her Tormentors are waiting.. it seems like this horror willnever end and even Matthew, joins his "friends" in this brutal ritual, when Jennifer is already broken, bleeding and near Death!

Johnny, Andy and Stanley want Matthew to kill her, but he can´t. So he´s leaving her alive, lying to his friends and they just leave the place.
But one day, when Jennifer healed her wounds all by herself, she starts her very own revange and this one´s very bloody!


Hope i brought up good enough what´s going on in this Movie. It´s even harder for me, cause english is not my Mother Language.

What ´s really fascinating in this Movie is.. it´s so totally 70´s. I like that kind of Movies. They look so innocent and different to Movies nowadays and the special thing in "I Spit on your Grave" is that there is actually NO background Music, what makes the Movie even more dark!

I was very shocked and thrilled from it. I felt so much for Jennifer, but also for Matthew.
Cause even if he raped the Woman, after he got drunk, he was nothing but a Follower, a Looser, having no friends, maybe trying to feel like loved and stuff. So it really broke me Heart to see him act.
This Movie was so rough, i actually shivered and my Hands were so much shaking, i needed to stop this Movie after only 25 Minutes to take a break!

It´s a very good, very cruel Movie with an awesome and very strong Female Character and i loved her Revanche-Scenes.
YES! Woman Power at it´s best!!

Really can´t wait to see Chad Lindberg in the 2010 Remake and i hope his Matthew is just like the 78´ Matt-with a bit more self-esteem!! 
*cross my fingers for it* ;)
