HP-SS-Slash again ... The sensory garden

Finished "The sensible Garden". I believe, the authors nickname ist RaeWhit. Beautiful story, though the end was a bit to sweet. It is just not believable, to make someone like Severus Snape, the sarcastic git Nr. 1, all "hearts and flowers and and a few tears because it's all so heartbreaking an sweet". Even if he is growing a garden in this one fanfic. But still, it is good written and not OOC (yeah, well, except a bit in the end, like I said, but it nothing too bad), the sexscenes aren't too much. And the story is enchanting.

What did I like most about it? I think, it was Snapes role as someone who easily brings death to people, but not in a way a usually associated with murderers and maniacs. He is someone who gives peace to a tortured soul. It is a role, that is frowned upon in our society and it must have been hell to write about assisted suicide. The other reason why I liked the story is the relationship between Winnie and Snape (ok, so his friendship with a child IS a bit OOC, but so is a gay relationship for every fictional charakter, that wasn't designed as gay in the first place. It is believable and that's the point). He is still formal and sometimes condescending but begins to care about her. And so it begins.

By the way, its funny how I always change between Harry Potter and Due south. There are other fandoms that I like, but usually not enough new fics (Firefly) to get my fill or the stories are so badly written, that I became distrusting (mostly LOTR/ RPS LOTR, but HP too). Still I usually read these two fandoms, even if I like LOTR more (something about first love, you know :-D, holds me captive all these years).

Ghost in the Shell 2 - Innocence - a small review

Habe gestern und had considered Innnocence, with and without commentary - the day before Ghost in the Shell 2nd Sounds cool, that the comment is even subtitled in German. My English reading is indeed getting better, but so fast I still do not have. Image powerfully. The word most aptly describes the film. I'm not really risen through the story, but I have a feeling that the anime have not usually there, that you understand the story - it must always remain a mystery piece. If the film can be developed logically complete, since nothing that gnaw at a later continuous, which then releases a nciht. The so called "empty space", which had tried to explain to our art teacher at that time - Again in connection with Japanese drawings. And the music I was so carried away that I have the final piece of Kimiko Itoh (Follow me) extra listened three times, and nachgegoogelt now almost an hour long. Maybe I'll buy the soundtrack really - did it even at Appleseed did. Is not that I would not have a penchant for the soundtrack and not a whole shelf full with film music has. :-D

But for me it was thus an extraordinary anime event, because I have seen for the first time the 3-D technology. Apparently they have some really filmed and the images subsequently alienated cartoon justice. Can there really still talking about cartoons? :-D When time going through I have not figured that was partly filmed there in 3-D and 2-D, I'm just wondering why some sequences of the texture, appearance, as always so totally different from the others. Only at the comments it has become clear to me.

And another thing is the comment I got stuck in your head. In a scene where the dolls are burned, "says one (whether it was now the director or the sequence-director, I do not), they had told him in Europe, the fire scene was brutal, but beautiful. And the other question why, why would the brutal, the Europeans fear the fire? And then one said, "Oh, they buried so their dead. "Simply by the way, do not really important point in the commentary, but I have become clear for the first time, what are worlds apart for our perceptions. Now I can understand why Mr. Oshii in Featurette permanently on the" misunderstanding " and "we can not translate a movie. He is rumgeritten by translation to another film "is. And when I put the fire scene now look at, then I arrange them in a very different context. Maybe we connect Europe with the fires too often the witch hunts, and rarely the cleansing aspect and take it so true as brutal. But nothing should be accepted for granted.
