Crunch time for Klees' leadership bid

Despite rigours of provincewide campaign, MPP still full of energy

That was the chant heard loud and clear from supporters of Newmarket-Aurora MPP and Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership hopeful Frank Klees Thursday night.
Mostly decked out in blue shirts and brandishing signs proudly indicating he is the man for the job, those in the Klees camp were brimming with energy prior to the leadership debate at Seneca College's Markham campus.
If the contest to become the leader of the party was decided solely on the basis of enthusiasm, Mr. Klees might be the one to beat.
It was a tough call to say if Mr. Klees' supporters were the most numerous, but they may well have been the loudest.
