Stephen Harper is in freefall ... HARPER'S STANDING AS LEADER HAS PLUNGED 16% IN ONE MONTH, and before the many, many photos of Bruce Carson and his fiance were splashed over the front pages.

And before the formal finding by the Committee that the Harper government is in contempt of Parliament.

Methinks Harper needs a parachute!

And this all happened in the past month, according to the Nanos National Poll of March 15, 2011:

Still, in terms of the Nanos Leadership Index, Stephen Harper registered a significant 16 point drop in the past month from 98.9 points to 82.8 points. This is the most dramatic one month drop in the past two years for Harper. He still enjoys a 30 point lead over Layton and Ignatieff, but his advantage on competence and vision have softened in the past month.

The Move to Undecided:

Another significant item in this Nanos poll is that more than one in five (22%) Canadians are Undecided about which party they will support come the election.
