Some say that the mild terms that Ignatieff attached to the approval by the Liberals of the Harper budget amounted to a leash on Harper.
They are wrong.
There is a leash involved, but it Harper’s leash (more like a choke chain), attached to Ignatieff.
And last night Harper tugged sharply on the leash and ordered Ignatieff to come to his heel.
It remains to see how Ignatieff justifies doing his master’s bidding.
