Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise spent the afternoon poolside in Miami, Florida where little Suri Cruise made a new friend as she splashed around in a little bikini yesterday on July 17.

Daddy Tom spent some time teaching his TomKitten how to swim while mama Katie lounged near the pool. It looks like the fam had a blast soaking up the sun together as they relaxed on holiday. Even though he was covered up to his neck in water, the 49-year-old maintained a cool composure as he floated with a fedora on top of his head.

Katie Holmes showed off her bikini-ready body and looked on as 5-year-old Suri, in a cute pink baby bikini, made funny faces and practiced her swimming. "Suri's an amazing athlete, singer and dancer. I think she'll probably be an actress," thesun quoted Holmes as saying.

"Suri is very particular about what she wears and sports high heels and lipstick when out with the couple."
