Joss Stone is a friend of HRH Prince William of Wales and she was invited to his wedding with Catherine Middleton on 29th April 2011.
Last month the Sunday Times Rich list placed Stone, who grew up in Devon, as the fifth-wealthiest British and Irish pop star aged under 30, with a fortune of £9million. She has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
Two men armed with swords have been arrested over an alleged plot to rob and killing soul singer Joss Stone at her home in Devon, Daily Mail reports.
The men were found carrying detailed maps and aerial photos of her house. According to the Sky News, British blue-eyed soul star Joss Stone is not believed to have been home at the time.
Both are under arrest after they were found lurking outside the singer’s home carrying swords, rope, and a body bag.
She was the intended subject of a possible planned, but thwarted killing/kidnap/robbery attempt, after police arrested two males in East Devon, England.
“The men had information and items that lead us to suspect that they may have intended to commit a criminal offense,” says Detective Inspector Steve Parker, lead investigator on the Joss Stone attempted kidnapping.
“We’re unable to say anymore at this time but I would like to thank the local residents for reporting the suspicious car.”
