missoni have teamed with converse for their spring/summer 2012 men's collection to produce the converse auckland racer in missoni's signature knit prints. the auckland racer was one of converse's first attempts in creating a running sneaker in the 1970s. it became popular for those with an active lifestyle looking for both style & function.
