Ignatieff versus Harper: Framing the BC HST issue

Ignatieff showed that he can frame issues with the best of them when he adroitly framed the BC HST brouhaha as an issue of trust and politicians.

The BC HST has  been described as a ticking time bomb for the conservative BC Liberal Party:
A ticking time-bomb aimed at blowing up British Columbia's controversial harmonized sales tax _ and possibly Premier Gordon Campbell's three-term Liberal government _ arrived in Victoria Monday.
 It came in the form of former B.C. premier Bill Vander Zalm's court-validated, anti-HST petition and its accompanying HST-repeal legislation.
